The IAA library is a specialist library in the field of arts and design and the largest of its kind in Iceland.
The library's main goal is to provide its users with access to a diverse range of reference materials in the fields of arts and design. These materials include books, magazines, audio and video recordings, sheet music and various electronic resources. Library staff are on hand to assist users in navigating the collections.
Free for students and staff
For other users 2000 ISK for one year
Regular loan - 10 kr. per day
Short term loan - 50 kr. per day
IAA staff does not pay for interlibrary loans, but students pay half price.
Other library users pay for interlibrary loans as follows:
Articles - 1.000 kr.
Books from Icelandic libraries - 1.000 kr.
Books from international libraries - 2.000 kr.
Please note that interlibrary loan requests are binding and that users will be charged for interlibrary loan materials, even if they are not collected. Contact email@example.com for further information.
Any lost materials shall be paid for in full or according to the set prices given below:
Book- full price
CD - 1500 kr.
Video - 1500 kr.
DVD - 1500 kr.
Music scores - full price.
