Málstofa/Public talks - Ilmur Stefánsdóttir

Ilmur Stefánsdóttir leikmynda og búningahöfundur er gestur Málstofu að þessu sinni. Hún útskrifaðist úr Myndlista- og handíðaskóla Íslands árið 1995 og lauk mastersnámi í myndlist frá Goldsmiths College í London árið 2000. Hún hefur haldið fjölda einka- og samsýninga og lagt stund á gjörningalist hérlendis og erlendis. Ilmur er hluti af sviðslistahópnum Common Noncence en þau hafa unnið töluvert með stökkbreytingu hluta og hegðun fólks. Ilmur deilir með okkur vinnuaðferðum og hugmyndum sínum. 

Ilmur Stefánsdóttir set and costume designer is our guest in Public talks this time. She gratuated from The Icelandic College of Art and Crafts in 1995 and has a Masters in Fine art from Goldsmiths College in 2000. She has both private and collective exebitions under her belt as an artist and as a performing artist, in Iceland and around the world. She is a part of the performing arts group Common Noncence, where they focus on the mutation of objects and behavoural patterns of humans. Ilmur will share light on her methods and ideas.
