As consumers, we constantly make decisions. For this collection, the decision was to not encourage demand for new, manufactured, mass produced, chemically treated materials as the world already has enough of these. Therefore, the collection is created using only second hand clothing and fabrics, as well as other found materials. A large amount of research went into finding solutions for working with these materials. For instance, the textiles are woven out of T-shirts and bed sheets. For fabric dyes, natural and ecologically friendly methods were looked for, such as using onion skin, avocado peel and pits, all materials which are usually disposed of in an average household.
