The work addresses the idea of healing through different mediums such as painting, drawing, sculpture, photography and found material. Healing is the process of the restoration of health, from an unbalanced, diseased or damaged condition into recovery. The artist´s interest in the questions related to these ideas comes from factors in his own life.

The broken cast of Bertel Thorvaldsen’s sculpture, damaged years ago during transport and has since been kept in storage contains a multi layered narrative, the material is laden with tension and if the plastic that surrounds it would be removed it would fall apart.

The Images are inspired by Osho zen tarot cards. By using tarot and putting it in a new context I want to point out similarities by how we look at, analyze and make connections about art much like we do with the tarot. Thus, the reading of the work will differ between individuals, who project different meaning onto the relationships between elements in the work. The work juxtaposes the ideas of physical, mental and spiritual healing with the restoration of dead things.
