Úlfar Ingi has worked as a composer, contrabassist, teacher and conductor in Iceland and in California, USA. He has written works for orchestra, chamber groups, and soloists which have been widely performed and are available from PunktProjectEdition, the Icelandic Music Information Center and Cantando Musikkforlag.  His works have been performed by variety of Icelandic and foreign ensembles and soloists and he has appeared as a performer and composer at international festivals including Dark Music Days Festival, Nordic Music Days, Reykjavik Art Festival to name a few and been a composer in residence at the Skalholt Summer Concert Series. He has collaborated with the Icelandic Dance Company and N+ECA network and participated as a composer, bassist or conductor in wide variety of concerts in Iceland and tours abroad. He currently lives in Iceland and works as a composer and teacher of composition and theory at the Iceland University of the Arts, Reykjavik College of Music and FIH School of Music.
