I look at and analyse the human being. My subject: the body that I pull, twist and distort with the purpose of capturing gloom and discomfort. This I try to get across to the viewer. I do so by using materials, colours and textures. In addition, I go closer; look at the skin, hair and bones. I ponder other peoples experiences as well as my own and use artistic expression as a way to process that which has captured my mind at each moment.
