Wednesday March 29th at 12:15 Elisa Palomino gives a lecture as part of GESTAGANGUR, a lecture series by the Department of Design and Architecture at Iceland Academy of the Arts. The lecture takes place in lecture room A at Thverholt 11.

Elisa Palomino’s training has been working in the Fashion luxury industry for 25 years including head of the studio at John Galliano, Christian Dior, Diane Von Furstenberg, Roberto Cavalli and Moschino. Since 2012 she directs the Fashion Print department at Central St Martins and lectures at International Universities such as Polimoda, Florence; the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, Copenhagen; San Francisco’s Academy of Art University; the Fashion Institute of Technology, New York; Shenkar University, Tel Aviv; Bunka Tokyo; Seville University, IED, Madrid; and the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design, Prague.

Her mission is to bring a passion as well as discipline from her years of industry experience and to inspire students to take the first step towards an international experience to learn new skills, languages and bring all their international knowledge back to their own country afterwards.
