In your hands – Group exhibition of first-year master's students in fine arts at the Hjalteyri Factory

First-year master's students in fine arts opened the exhibition last Saturday. in your hands at the Factory in Hjalteyri with a great reception for guests.

The exhibition was the result of a week-long workshop by the master's students, where the history of the factory and the uniqueness of the place were the subject matter and subject of their work.

This time, Sigurður Guðjónsson, a visual artist and professor at the Icelandic Academy of the Arts, went north with the students and led the course together with Gústav Geir Bollasyn, a visual artist and founder of Verksmiðjan.

First-year Fine Art master's students opened the exhibition in your hands at Verksmiðjann in Hjalteyri last Saturday and received a great reception from guests.

The exhibition was the result of a week-long workshop by the master's students, where the history of the factory and the unique location were the subject of their work.

This time, Sigurður Guðjónsson, artist and professor at the Icelandic University of the Arts, went north with the students and led the workshop together with Gústav Geir Bollasyn, artist and founder of Verksmiðjan.
