Sense

Our senses are the premise of all we think and do. They bring us our ego-world, the only reality we can know exists.

Each and every one has their own relative ego-world, formed solely on the premises of perception. However, the senses perceive only a fraction of our surroundings, so it is safe to assume that the world in its broadest sense is nothing like our ego-world. In recent times humanity has succeeded, through technology, in perceiving much that we cannot otherwise detect. In that way we have extended our perception and expanded our ego-world. But have our natural senses kept up with this new reality?
