The role of the Music Department is to train musicians for a broad range of music professions.
MA in Composition is a two-year study programme of 120 ECTS. The MA-programme in music composition provides students the means to establish and develop their area of speciality as a composer. The students can choose from different modules regarding musical theory, electro-acoustics, instrumentation and composition to support their field. In addition, with the aim of developing the students’ professional skills, they can choose from programmes in entrepreneurship, project management or artistic reflective research.
