Goddur, Guðmundur Oddur Magnússon, has been employed as Research Professor at the Department of Design and Architecture at the Iceland Academy of the Arts. This is the first Research Professor title to be awarded by the Academy.
Goddur is educated in graphic design and fine arts. His research focuses on the history of visual language in Iceland. He is a lecturer and a programme maker on Icelandic visual culture for The Icelandic National Broadcasting Service, RÚV. His work has been published and exhibited widely around the world.
