Last Friday, 1st of September, an open lecture was held by Laumulistasamsteypan at the Department of Fine Art, Laugarnesvegur 91.

Laumulistasamsteypan is a diverse group of young artists that assemble annually to work together on creative projects in the island of Hrísey. This year they build a staged set called HAMUR/HAM in an old Nissen hut and produced short films and experimental images.

Laumulistasamsteypan is looking forward to welcoming students and guests at the IAA. They will introduce their practice and their stay in Hrísey these last years. They rely on uncensored ideas, the importance of execution, to be together and to drop the ego.
