Performing Arts Department staff with 13 nominations for Grímun

The nominations for this year's Gríma Awards were recently announced.

Gréta Kristín Ómarsdóttir, director of the playwrighting program, Katrín Gunnarsdóttir, director of the contemporary dance program, and Anna María Tómasdóttir, adjunct professor in the performing arts department, received a total of 13 nominations for the works; Miss Iceland, The Year Without Summer, and Ífigenía in Ásbrú.

The Academy of the Arts congratulates them and also congratulates the current and recent graduates of the Department of Performing Arts on their nomination for the Incentive Award of the Year. It is priceless to see young artists from the school's ranks being recognized for their powerful and original work.

The Mask Awards ceremony will take place on Tuesday, June 10th.
