In a few days, Laugarnes will once again have a library in its own building. In the summer of 2024, the library was moved from Laugarnes and is now housed in Stakkahlíð. Please come and check out the selection of books from the library's storage in Laugarnes. Who knows when we will have the opportunity to visit the library in Laugarnes again?

There will be a book reading on Saturday at 2:00 PM. Then in the evening at 7:00 PM we will play Magic The Gathering. Finally, a student-run writing workshop on Sunday at 2:00 PM.

Björn Jónsson is in his third year of studying fine arts at the Icelandic Academy of Fine Arts and he knows what he's doing. He's here for big wins and bigger sales.

For a few days Laugarnes will reclaim its library. In the summer of 2024 the library was moved to Stakkahlíð. You are happily invited to come browse the libraries storage of books in Laugarnes. Who knows when the opportunity to visit a Laugarnes library presents itself again?

On Saturday there will be a book reading at 14:00. Saturday evening, at 19:00, there will be a Magic The Gathering event. Then on Sunday there will be a student run writing center at 14:00.

The exhibition is part of a series of solo exhibitions by BA students in their third year in art, which will take place between September 25 and November 27, 2025.

Student solo exhibitions are part of the course Professors' Workshops supervised by Sirra Sigrún Sigurðardóttir. Teachers Hekla Dögg Jónsdóttir and Styrmir Örn Guðmundsson.
