In the course, Interaction, the students are working on a wide scale, ranging from the global scale, the territorial scale, and the local scale. We are using a large influence of Borgarlina in shaping the capital region in the coming years to approach this aspect. We examine how architecture could utilize the emergence of environmentally friendly public transport to transform the environment for the benefit of people. How can environmental design, planning, and architecture positively interact with the necessary means of transport and structures, while at the same time enhancing the local spirit and quality that exist at a certain location of Borgarlina stop?

4th year students at the Department of Architecture at the Iceland Academy of the Arts will present their final spring project in the Tjarnarsal Hall of Reykjavík City Hall on May 9th from 10:00 AM.
At 16:00 PM, after the presentation and discussion, there will be an exhibition opening of the projects.

In the course Interaction, students work on a broad scale, from global to regional to local. We examine how architecture could take advantage of the emergence of environmentally friendly public transport to transform the environment for the benefit of people and the environment.
How can environmental design, planning and architecture positively interact with necessary transportation modes and structures while simultaneously enriching and enhancing the local spirit and quality that exist in the relevant locations at City Line stations?
