Samhengi welcomes the chamber group Ensemble Adapter on Friday, November 14. Ensemble Adapter operates both in Iceland and in Berlin. Founding members Matthias Engler, percussionist, and Gunnhildur Einarsdóttir, harpist, lead the group's work, which focuses on collaboration and co-creation with a diverse group of artists around the world. Ensemble Adapter takes a broad approach to music creation and the group's work is diverse, ranging from creating, curating, producing, holding workshops and teaching to performing contemporary music, whether on stage or through other media. Since the group's founding in 2004, the group has premiered hundreds of works and performed at numerous festivals and concerts around the world.

Context welcomes Ensemble Adapter Friday, November 14th. Ensemble Adapter is an experimental music group based in Berlin. Driven by Matthias Engler (perc) and Gunnhildur Einarsdóttir (harp), it focuses on collaborative work with partners of various artistic backgrounds worldwide. Treating music as a contemporary art form, Ensemble Adapter creates, curates, produces, workshops and performs – both onstage and online.
