MA graduates in Fine Arts at the Icelandic Academy of Arts warmly welcome guests to two artist talks on their exhibition Visible Spectrum, which opened on Saturday, May 10th at the Living Art Museum. The program is as follows:

Sunday, May 25th at 16:00 PM – 17:20 PM
Artists: Sunniva Allanic, Sandijs Ruluks, Nicole Desautels and Marzieh Amiri.

The exhibition brings together nine exciting artists with diverse backgrounds and creative practices who come together in an intriguing Synergy. Each artist brings a unique perspective, shaped by diverse cultural roots, media, and ideological approaches. Despite these differences, the exhibition is united by a shared commitment to exploring identity, memory, and transformation through this medium commonly referred to as art.

The collective impact among the artists is evident in the way their works speak to each other, forming ecosystems of ideas rather than isolated statements. The exhibition encourages viewers to move quickly from one voice to another, discovering resonance and tension. Together, these nine artists demonstrate how collective creation can thrive, not despite, but because of, particular uniqueness – and remind us that art, at its core, is a shared language shaped by many dialects.
