Einurð

Línan fær innblástur sinn annars vegar beint frá fatnaðinum sem fannst í fatasöfnun Rauða Krossins og hins vegar frá minimalískum íslenskum arkitektúr. Skörp form, línur og einfaldleiki sem einkennir slíkan arkitektúr hefur alltaf höfðað til mín. Þetta endurspeglast í fatnaðinum þar sem engar tölur eða hefðbundnar festingar sjást heldur eru bönd og faldir rennilásar notaðir til að hafa fráganginn sem hreinlegastan. Þannig fá formin að njóta sín og einfaldleikinn ræður ríkjum.

–This line is inspired on the one hand simply by the clothes found at the Red Cross and on the other is influenced by Icelandic, minimalistic architecture, known for its sharp lines and simplicity that I‘ve always been drawn to. The clothes reflect this in some ways. For example they have no buttons or traditional buckles but instead use strings and hidden zippers so the outcome is as clean as possible. In this way the forms of the clothes are the main focus and simplicity a keyword.
