As a young girl, Ruby found herself imitating her father’s actions, soaking up his wisdom like a sponge. His guidance shaped her creative path, where she discovered potential in every object. Mixing unconventional elements into familiar moulds has become her design signature, driven by her belief that everything serves a purpose. Inspired by the saying ‘the student is like a sponge’, Ruby instinctively chose the ‘sponge’ as a core material, incorporating it into clothing moulds, the sponge embodies the absorption. This journey marks the beginning of Ruby’s unique design language. The collection reflects her journey and creative process. Remembering her dad and childhood, Ruby feels a carefree and safe side emerge, unconsciously guiding her. This essence infuses simplicity and playfulness into each piece.
