Engar íþróttir hafa verið í boði fyrir börn sem að bundin eru í hjólastól. Það geta verið margar ástæður fyrir því en stærsta hindrunin er hvað íþróttahjólastólar eru dýrir. Til þess að geta boðið uppá æfingar í boltagreinum eins og hjólastólakörfubolta, hjólastólahandbolti þá þurfa að vera til 10 -12 stólar á hverjum stað. Kostnaðurinn við stólana er það mikill að menn hafa ekki lagt út þann kostnað og því er ekkert í boði fyrir þennan hóp.

Til þess að leysa þetta hefur „verkefnið“ fjárfest í tíu íþróttahjólastólum sem hugmyndin er að hægt verði að flakka með á milli íþrótthúsa í yfir byggðri kerru. Kerran verður á ferðinni í borginni og nágranna sveitarfélögum. Allir með langar til þess að nota hana til þess að koma jákvæðum skilaboðum út í samfélagið og um leið vekja athygli á verkefninu.

Allir nemendur Listaháskólans geta sent inn verk í samkeppni „Allir með“ um útfærslu á myndskreytingu fyrir verkefnið.

Veitt eru verðlaun fyrir þrjár bestu hannanirnar.

Presentation of the design competition Allir með and IUA

Allir með is holding a competition for labels on a covered trailer, in collaboration with the Iceland University of the Arts.

There have been no sports available for children who are confined to wheelchairs. There can be many reasons for this, but the biggest obstacle is that sports wheelchairs are expensive. In order to be able to offer exercises in ball sports such as wheelchair basketball, wheelchair handball, there must be 10-12 chairs at each location. The cost of the chairs is so high that people have not paid for that cost, so there is nothing available for this group.

In order to solve this, the “project” has invested in ten sports wheelchairs, with the idea that it will be possible to travel between gymnasiums in an overbuilt trailer. The cart will be on the move in the city and neighboring municipalities. Allir með would like to use it to send a positive message to society and at the same time draw attention to the project.

All students of the University of the Arts can submit a work in the competition “Allir með” for the implementation of an illustration for the project.

Prizes are awarded for the three best designs.
